Self Lock Style Lid Carriers

The self lock style lid carrier uses the weight of the lid itself to keep it clamped tight. The thumbwheel adjustment is used to get the clamp to the rough size of the lid, then as the weight of the lid is transferred to the carrier, a scissor action from the lower arms clamp the carrier tight to the lid. The rollers have sealed roller bearings for long life and ease of use. The tightening screw and brass nuts are completely replaceable as are the bearings in the rollers. The lid carrier plates that clamp onto the vault lid are available in many sizes to fit every vault lid.
